So what am I up to?

I currently have two adjacent plots in the Caledon Highlands. While I love the Highlands because they're very peaceful, it's that exact quietude that keeps them from being such a good place for a shop. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't expect to throw down and live off of my SL earnings. But to have my tier paid for... that'd be nice. In fact, that's my one year goal.
Anyway, since my existing land isn't right for a shop, I've asked Desmond Shang, the person responsible for all of Caledon, to be put on the waiting list for a small commercial spot somewhere in one of the upcoming sims, or in one of the older ones if something becomes vacant.
I expect by mid-September to have the space. Which means a month and a half left to:
- Create enough saleable inventory to not have an empty shop when I open.
- Design the store itself.
- Package up inventory into vendors and set prices. <-- UGH.
- Create ads and copy. <-- DOUBLE UGH.
- Start building my brand.
So right now, I'm working on #A, and have a couple of sketches for #B. The price setting part of #C stymies me. How? How? How do you figure out a fair market price? Ah well. Things to learn.
Anyway, my planned opening inventory is:
1. 2 kinds of Wings (these need a post all their own) in each of 5 color sets. Possibly one or two limited editions if there's time.
2. 3 sets of jewelry, each set containing a necklace, earrings and bracelet, plus one other piece. For example, Irrepressible (pictured below and above) will have a nose ring. Improbable will have a toe ring, and Inimitable... well that'll be a surprise. I'm also thinking about doing limited editions of these.
3. The AEther Flyer definitely and perhaps my Air Skiff.
4. Fireflies like the ones that inhabit the Ruins, which are much more lifelike than most I've seen.
5. Perhaps... if it's finished... my ghost hunting equipment... That may come shortly after opening.
6. Anything else I can get finished up.

Really when I finish the jewelry I'll be happy. 1, 3 and 4 are done already.
